The ion exchanger softens the water, primarily removing magnesium and limescale. Softer water is particularly suitable for watering flowers. Limescale-containing water is harmful to plants, as hard, calcareous water causes the soil to become increasingly alkaline. Deposits form on the edges of pots, on the substrate, and even on the plants themselves. The roots are particularly sensitive to limescale. They can no longer fulfill their functions, and the plant stunts.
The cartridges for the harmonei® water filter are consumables. You can order replacement cartridges here in the shop . These should be replaced after 8,000–10,000 liters, depending on the water contamination.

Please read the installation and operating instructions carefully before using the water filter to quickly become familiar with the device. This manual contains important information for installation, use, and maintenance and is included with every water filter. It is technically perfectly equipped with two vent valves, standard connections, and PROFIX screw fittings. The under-counter and wall-mounted models must be installed ONLY by a qualified professional!
